Wes Carrol Confabulation

The Wes Carroll Confabulation walks the tight-rope, balancing detailed arrangements with the power of spontaneity. Since early 2015, they have honed their unique blend: stretching out into a world of hip-hop grooves, soul and electricity while not losing their jazz footing.

Their set blends singer-songwriter and instrumental with themes that include social justice, surveillance, mental health, climate change, and of course, love songs too. (Check them out on Spotify here.)

You are invited...

Float your canoe, kayak, paddleboard, floatie, rowboat (you name it!) to some music and stories on the dock at Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club, featuring Kwakwaka'wakw & Songhees/Coast Salish artist Brianna Dick and live music from local jazz and soul band, Wes Carrol Confabulation featuring Owen Chow on trumpet.

All ticket purchases and donations will go towards West Moberly First Nations legal challenge in opposition to the Site C Dam.

(Read more about it here.)

Plus, all ticket purchases and donations will be MATCHED!
